Featuring a wide, flat Sailors Collar, which frames the bodice beautifully, dramatic puff sleeves, centre front opening that can be buttoned closed or quick rigged for a quick changed, and a full, gathered skirt. The bodice gathers into a waistband, creating a nipped-in waist that gives the gathered skirt full theatrical impact. The skirt is generously gathered and the pattern includes several options for hem decoration. Topped off with jaunty bows, this costumes is sure to make a statement on the stage.

The collar features an anchor applique, which the pattern includes in three sizes (and could, indeed, be placed along the hem), and instructions are included for to to applique this detail, alongside multiple pattern options for the collar, cuff, waist and hem geometric ribbon decoration.

Designed for theatrical performance costume making, the Bathing Beauty pattern features extra seam allowances- to enable quick alterations- shorten and lengthen lines as well as cut and spread lines and is graded for 6 sizes.
